Christchurch Earthquake

12:51 tuesday 22nd there was and aftershock in christchurch. Some people were stuck in buildings they were terrified and also frightened. Buildings were crumbling down and rocks were tumbling down. Some people had no food and hardly any water. People lost there homes and also losted their loving ones people also felt pain in side them.

on sunday the 20th of march me my mun my sister and my brother where painting the garage will. frist we  had to ster the white panit .sonced we had to puld the panittry .after that we had to find some roller .when when we had some roller me my sister and my brotherstared to panit.when me my sister and my brother had finished paniting I had panit all of me.r.s

trip to france

in april school holidays i went with my awesome friends paige,talisha,nichole,mrs harrison and miss hartley to france.We all packed our bags, they felt like big heavy elephants, and hoped in the air new zealand plane.We enjoyed our trip to france,'is it time to hop out yet' i said two hours later we finally arrived in france.Once we unpacked our luggage in the hotel we rushed out and went to explore the hole of france on a cruise ship.On the cruise ship we got entertained by games,dancers,and looking out at the bright blue sea.When we got off the cruise ship we learnt how to speak french in a french class.Now we could speak french to other people.After that we looked at diffrent kind of animals they were so cute,and kind i wanted to take one home.We totally went shopping in the mall.There were awesome cloths there,out we came spending $500 dollars on clothes and accessories.ZOOMING! on a limo we all went to a extremly flash restruant it was so flash a big meal and a drink would cost $90 dollars,but we ate there any way.All of us had an awesome time in france,but after that meal i ate i was very full my tummy was like as big as a rhinos tummy.It was like a moment we'll never forget even when where 60 years of age.jtw

bake sale

On sunday my best friend Eleanor had a bake sale. She had it at her house. Eleanor baked muffins and cookies they all costed 1 each.  I bought one of each, a chocolate biscuit and a chocolate muffin.  In the chocolate muffin the chunks of chocolate were melted and warm.  When I got into the lounge they were watching cute win fail.  Cute win fail is funny there are three funny videos the person who puts them on the show he will say to one of the videos cute win or fail.

OFF WENT OUR ROCKET SHIP AS WE TRAVELLED TO FKW WORLD.WELL EARTH IS SO BIG FROM HERE I SAID,YEAH BUT LOOK WHERE WERE GOING , ITS TWICE AS BIG SAID MY BROTHER.HOWLEY ITS HUGE BUT IM REALLY GOING TO MISS EARTH,THEN MY DAD SAID YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY TO BAD SO SAD,YEAH I GUESS SO.TICK TOCK WENT THE ANNOUNCER BELL WE WILL BE ARRIVING IN TEN MINUTESSO BE READY THANK YOU SAID OUR ANNOUNCER.YIPEE YIPEE YIPEE SCREAMED ME ,MY BROTHER,AND SISTER.MUM IS THERE ANY TOILETS I NEED TO GO PEE ,THE THING WAS SHE SHOT ME AN ANSWER OF NO BUT SHE ALSO SAID THAT I SHOULD HOLD MY HORSES BECAUSE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN A MINUTE.LANDING IN 3,2,1, WELCOME PASSENGERS TO FKW WORLD.OHHH THIS IS SO NICE I FEEL REALLY REFRESHED NOW.BOOOW WHOOOOOO CRIED MY SISTER NOTHING ITS JUST I CANT BELIEVE THAT IM ACTUALLY STANDING AND BREATHING ON A NEW WORLD,OH CHEER UP.OK FIRST THING ON THE LIST IS A WELCOME AND EXPLORE.OMG THIS LEI IS MORE CREATIVE THEN YOU COULD THINK OF,CHOCOLATE,GOLD,SILVER,AND PLATNUM,LI COULD NEVER DREAM OF A BETTER NECKLACE I SAID.SO MUM CAN WE GO MEET HARRY POTTER ALSO KNOWN AS DANIEL RADCLIFFE AT HARRY LAND SHE SAID NO STRAIGHT UP NOT THINKING ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT WAS 3rd ON THE LIST.I SAID OK I CAN WAIT WITH A FAMILIAR VOICE THEN MY DAD SAID AS ALWAYS DONT USE THAT VOICE TO MAKE US CHANGE OUR MINDS MR OTHER WISE I WOULD BE GROUNDED OR EVEN BE SENT TO MY ROOM.WE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER,THE END

the triathalon

splash the year six boys jumped into the pool it not that cold I said mr saunders was counting down I had butterflis in my tummy three two one the year six boys darted though the water with only on thing on there minds first plase I was coming first year im of to a good start I had a quick look behind me and I saw my best friend trevorshane coming up behind me me and treor shane were out of the pool first it felt ass though I had no more air left in my lungs but couldnt give up now I was coming first

the best holiday ever

two years ago my sister and mum flew to fiji for a nice relaxing holiday. We zoomed to this fancy boat. When we got to the resort me my cousin went canoeing it was awesome. after that we went to our place it really cool. i throat i was going to die because the canoe was going out to sea but it did'nt and im still alive.the next day we went scoba diving it was awesome.i saw millions of fish tones coral. we went mini golfing it was hard but fun. my uncle loves golfing but he hardly goes golfing but hes prettey good.the next day we went to this pool across from there hut its really and fascinating and then we had to go back to home the end

Lee's 31st

Whoo! "Were going to a party,"my mum's friend Lee was turning 31 but she still looked youg for her age. When we got to there house there was hardley nobody there I think that we were atchelly the first one's there. "Hi Lee" I called out "happy birthday" as i gave her the presant. Next we played some volly ball then we ate some chippies and dip and we played while dinner was cooking. "can I help with anything "yeah but first you have to wash your hands" "ok" I said cheerfully. Next I helped with the potato salad. Then I started puting dinner on the table. after dinner it was cold outside, but we still played outside. Next we had dessert. After dessert we watched a bit of transformers and then left. Bye everybody I said goodnight they said back to me!!! SM

Recount Writing

For Written Language this term we have been learning how to write recounts. We know that a recount is retelling something that has happened, so we are writing in the past tense. We also know that our events need to be in the right order. We have been learning how to make our writing interesting by including lots of different language features like onomatopoeia (CRASH! BANG! ZOOM! SPLASH!) and similies, metaphors even alliteration.

Tremendous 12, look through your written language book and choose your best Recount to share and publish on our blog. Think of a title for your recount and remember to be cybersafe and only sign off using your initals.

MASCOT CHALLENGE

Week 7 is coming up very quick!! we need to start thinking about our mascott for our classroom. A young gentelman from Wonderous One has already asked me about when our Matanginui challenges will be starting so its GAME ON.......
